1. Press cutter into a rolled-out slab of clay. (You can make the slab by hand with a rolling pin, or with a slab roller.) |

2. Press plunger to release tile blank from cutter. (The easiest way to keep tile blanks flat as they dry is to place them between sheets of plasterboard.) |
