Here at Georgies, we love clay just like you do. Many of us are potters, sculptors and teachers in addition to working here. We haven't forgotten our roots -- what drew us to claywork in the first place -- and so we're very happy to support the creative arts communities of Oregon. Your success is our success. In that spirit, we offer space on our website and in our stores for local artists to display their work. Besides, we're just fascinated to see the beautiful, whimsical, and intriguing objects made with our products!
Artworks displayed on the "In-Store" page are physically located in our Portland store. Many of these items are offered for sale. We don't offer these items for online purchase due to potential difficulties in packing and shipping. We encourage you to visit our store to buy them, or directly contact the artists via the info they've provided. If you're interested in arranging an in-store showing of your work, please see the Terms listed at the bottom of the In-Store page.
Our "On the Web" page is a permanent, cumulative collection of work created by artists using our products, especially our clays and glazes. These works are typically not located in our store; the photos on our page represent a sample of the work available at the individual artists' studios. We offer the photos in conjunction with website addresses and contact info so you can arrange further viewing or purchase.
