Hello: I have about 300 or so ceramic molds ranging from figurines, holiday stuff, animals, household items etc. Small molds are $1.00 each, medium $5.00 each, and large molds $10.00 each. I also have a Paragon kiln, about 10 years old, for sale for $100 OBO. The kiln operates on 110-volt power, measures 3ft by 3ft, reaches 1800 degrees (F), and everything works. Wanted: Studio Assistant Position for Summer
Looking for job as studio assistant this summer. I am a college student hoping to live in Portland this summer but I need a job there first! I have an extensive background in clay. Took clay and sculpture classes all through highschool, had my own studio at my house for two years in high school, and I am a studio assistant at Willamette University now. I can reclaim clay, mix glazes, clean, unload and load kilns, and much more. I am looking for a job as a studio assistant in exchange for pay as well as studio space. You can contact me at 505-321-6582 or troholt@willamette.edu. Sincerely, Taylor Roholt
Will Work for Kiln Use
I'll trade my expertise to use your gas kiln twice a month or so. I would most likely do a bisque firing of cone 06 and then a week later fire at cone 6. Depending on the size of your kiln, it might be just the two firings a month. Or maybe you're just a swell person who wants to share his/her kiln for the sheer joy of it or a small fee?
My experience? Where to begin? I have taught handbuilding to teens, children and preschoolers. I can load and unload electric kilns. I can help with cleaning, glazing, organizing, inventory, helping customers, running a cash register. I am a fast typist, I'm good on the computer, and can make phone calls for you. My professional experience was as an event planner. There are folks in Eugene who will vouch for me at the University of Oregon (TAG program), City of Eugene Recreation Department (Amazon Community Center), and instructors in the ceramic department at Lane Community College. Call Kathi at 503.927.6608 or 504.408.0197.
