Mayco Pottery Coat Glazes

Pottery Coats are nontoxic ceramic glazes that simulate the look of highfired stoneware. The best looks are achieved when used as a base coat in combination with Pottery Cascade and a flowing nontoxic glaze, such as one of the Elements series. When used alone, Pottery Basecoat is porous and therefore not recommended for use with dinnerware or other functional items. To use Pottery Basecoat on a functional item, you must first apply a clear glaze to seal the surface. This will darken the color and will show uneven application or brushstrokes.

Laguna Moonscape Glazes

These glazes create a flowing, lava-like surface layered in stunning soft colors with a velvety texture. Be sure to try both the break-up EM1200 to EM1213 colors and the matte EM1220 to EM1228 colors. The difference is remarkable!
