Our clays are made in our Portland plant with the finest raw materials from all over the country, with careful attention to detail and the needs of Northwest clay artists. Need a Custom Clay Blend?
Sculpture? Tile? Special school programs? Yes, Georgies makes custom clays to your specifications and recipe. Our expert staff will work with you to identify the raw materials necessary to give the performance you need at the best possible price. We make hundreds of tons of custom clays for our customers each year. Minimum order size is generally about one ton, but varies with final batch size.
We also make custom clay blends for several major West Coast tile manufacturers. We work with them extensively to select raw materials and customize the clay formula to their specific needs in color, texture, working characteristics, and firing schedule. If you're looking for clay specifically tailored to your production needs, from single batches to truckloads, we have the facilities and the expertise to work with you.
