Georgies' website is best viewed in Internet Explorer 5.0 (or higher) or Netscape Navigator 4.8 (or higher). Some graphics used by our shopping cart may not appear properly in Mozilla Firefox. We're waiting on a solution to this problem from our shopping cart programmers.

For best ease of viewing, we recommend a screen resolution of 800x600. There are no required plugins for sound, video or multimedia files, but we do recommend installing Adobe Acrobat Reader. You'll need it to open, read, print and save technique sheets, brochures, price lists, and other documents on our site.

• WORDS: Text links may be light yellow (on a dark red-clay background) or red-clay-brown (on a light tan background). Text links will always be underlined like this or like this. Text links you have visited will turn orange or khaki. (Don't worry, words in light yellow and orange are much more visible on the dark background where you'll find them.)
• PICTURES: Keep an eye on your cursor as you mouse over pictures on our webpages. When the cursor changes, click! This will generally open a larger copy of the image you're looking at.
• HINT: If you're unsure what will happen when you click a link, place your cursor on the link and sneak a peek at the lower left corner of your browser window. This line of text shows the name of the file or action connected to that link.

BACK BUTTON: Your browser's 'Back' button is (usually) an arrow pointing to the left, on the row of icons just below the menu. Use this button to return to the page you viewed just before this one.

SEARCH ENGINE: We've provided a search engine you can use at any time to quickly, easily locate products or information anywhere on our website. You can also use this search engine to search the rest of the Web without leaving Georgies site. To use the search feature, first specify 'This Site' or 'The Web' by using the pull-down menu. Type in the product, search words or phrase you're looking for and click 'Search.' (Our search engine will remember your previous searches, and suggest a list of words or phrases for which you've previously searched. You can save yourself typing the whole phrase by scrolling down the list and clicking on "used" phrases.) Results for your search will be displayed in the main window. Using Our Shopping Cart

Georgies' shopping cart program can be accessed from our "Product" pages or from our "Catalog" pages. In our Product pages, click on the "Add to Cart" icon to order clay, glaze or equipment item. In the Catalog pages, click on the item number to order the item. You can access the shopping cart at any time to view, edit or delete its contents by clicking on "Your Cart" in the upper right corner of your screen. You can begin the checkout process at any time by clicking on "Checkout," also in the upper right corner.

When you have clicked an "Add to Cart" icon and entered the shopping cart, click on the underlined product description to go right back to the page where you found that item. Clicking the green "Continue Shopping" graphic will take you back to our home page at www.georgies.com. Whichever one you click, your product choices in the shopping cart will NOT be wiped out.

To completely empty your shopping cart and start over, click "Your Cart" to view the cart's contents, then click "Empty Your Cart."
