How to Order from Georgies


Online Shopping

We are currently adding online shopping, coordinated with our catalog, to our website. Anywhere you see a brown shopping cart icon, you can order that product online. For other items, for your convenience, we provide multiple means for placing your order with us. You can reach us as detailed on our Contact page.

Price Changes

Due to a variety of economic considerations including fluctuating rates of currency exchange and the rising costs of fuel and transportation, some prices on our website and in our catalog may be out of date. We work every day on keeping them current, but prices shown are subject to change without notice. Please contact us to verify prices, or WE WILL CONTACT YOU to advise of any price changes on your order.

Payment
  • CREDIT CARDS: We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover credit cards, and debit cards with Visa or Mastercard logos.
  • COD: Our credit limit on first and second COD orders is $100, including shipping and COD service charges.
  • PURCHASE ORDERS are accepted from all government institutions, agencies and schools.
  • CREDIT or OPEN accounts may be granted to established businesses that meet certain business criteria.
  • GIFT CERTIFICATES are available at all Georgies stores.

Ordering

  • Please use the item numbers in our catalog when ordering.
  • MINIMUMS: We do not have a minimum order size. There is, however, a $3.00 handling charge on all orders under $50.00 (total after discounts, if any) and on all mold orders.
  • SHIPPING: We will use our best judgement in selecting the most cost-efficient means to ship within the continental US. Shipments under 200 pounds usually go UPS. Shipments over that weight will be sent by freight truck, using our freight discounts to save you money. We can send by Parcel Post and to FPO or APO mailboxes. In addition, we can ship anywhere in the world using UPS, Federal Express, or any other company serving your area. We provide order consolidation and container shipping to all parts of the world. ALL foreign and ALL domestic air shipments must be prepaid by credit card.
  • WILL-CALL: Please provide 24 hours notice on your order to pick up at our stores. For weekend pickup, please call to place your order between Monday and Friday.

International Orders

Due to unfortunately high rates of credit card fraud we have experienced on international orders, we are not currently accepting orders for shipment outside North America. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Many of the manufacturers we work with have distributors or dealers in many countries around the world. Wherever possible we will be happy to refer you to a dealer, distributor or reseller in your area.

Discounts

Our discounts are available to every customer, every day, on every purchase. The exact discounts available vary by product line. Most are based on quantity purchased: as the quantity ordered increases, the price per unit decreases. Quantity discounts are coded into our website's shopping cart system. Please contact us for details on discounts for professional artists, wholesale purchases, or schools and educational programs.

Returns

If you wish to return or exchange part or all of your order, please contact us before sending it back so we know what's coming. Items to be returned must be in original and saleable condition. Some returns may be subject to a 20% restocking fee.

Special Orders

All special order items, including all molds, must be prepaid in full before we order them from the manufacturer. Cancelled special orders will be subejct to 20% restocking fee, deducted from your refund or credit.

Damaged Shipments

All shipments leave Georgies in good condition. When your order arrives, please inspect all boxes or parcels for obvious damage before signing the delivery receipt. Open the boxes, too, to check for concealed damage. If you find damage, note it on the receipt and get the driver's signature to verify the damage. Save the damaged items or packing materials for possible inspection by UPS or the freight company. Contact Georgies as soon as possible to report the damage. We will be happy to work with you to recover credits for damaged merchandise, but the first responsibility in getting that credit is YOURS.

Warranties and Disclaimer

Some products and equipment sold at Georgies are covered by manufacturers' warranties. We encourage you to register your purchase with these manufacturers to ensure warranty coverage.The following is made in lieu of all warranties, expressed or implied, on products made or sold by Georgies which are not covered by manufacturers' warranties: Georgies only obligation shall be to replace such quantity of product as proves to be defective by standard and accepted testing methods for the ceramic industry. Georgies shall not be liable for any injury, loss or damage, direct or consequential, arising out of the use or inability to use any product.Georgies urges all users to test all materials prior to use for the purpose of determining the suitability of the product for the intended use. Users assume all risk and liability in connection with use of Georgies products (though your warranty rights may vary, depending on applicable laws passed by state, provincial, federal or other governmental bodies).
