Amaco Majolica Colors


AMACO MAJOLICA GLOSS COLORS were developed specifically for use in Majolica techniques. They can be applied directly to a basecoat of unfired white glaze, and no clear cover glaze is necessary. Colors will fire glossy and assume the smooth surface of the white base glaze. You can also use them for overall coverage or to design on bisque with no additional glaze over or under them. In such cases, apply at least two good coats for best results.
