Stunning and varied results are easy to achieve with these glazes, which rank among Coyote's most popular colors. You can get great results with just one glaze, or truly spectacular effects by layering them over each other. Application is critical, as the color and finish results vary with thickness of application, and these glazes may not fit all clay bodies. For best results, we recommend you test the glazes for your application style and clay body before committing to them on "keeper" or production ware. These glazes are all nontoxic and most are food-safe -- except, of course, the crackle glazes. (This group also includes copper and iron glazes which don't fit into the other families of Coyote glazes, but may not be strictly "Archie's Glazes.") |

| While most people think of celadons as ranging from pale to intense green, traditional celadons could also be clear, yellow or blue. With these glazes Coyote has expanded the celadon color palette to include a rich variety of translucent colors. They are great over brushwork, carvings, texture, and colored clays. These glazes are user friendly, pooling without being overly runny. Particularly nice over porcelain or smooth white clay. |

| Coyote's gloss glazes are shiny and stable, with solid consistent coverage in a wide range of colors without breaking or running. Most are opaque, but a few are slightly translucent. Try them under the Shino series or the Archie's series for interesting texture and color combinations. Food safe. |

| Coyote's shino glazes are gorgeous and unusual combinations of beauty and reliability. The color is sensitive to thickness of application: it breaks to brown where thinner, giving interest to the surface, and yields the primary color where thicker. Very user friendly, the Shinos are easy to apply, are not runny and are at their best over texture. They're also great over other glazes. All except CG23 Green Shino are food-safe. |
